Reservation Policies

  • Check-in is after 4:00 PM. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 7:00 PM
  • Check out is at 11:00 AM
  • Breakfast Your Way! – Served in the dining room or on the front porch at 8:00, 8:45, or 9:30 AM – your choice
  • Reservation Policy: A deposit of 50% will be collected at booking.  Balance is due prior to or upon arrival
    • Please let us know any dietary preferences or restrictions
    • Sign up for breakfast as you check-in
  • We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express 
  • Cancellations within 14 days will result in full charge unless we can reserve the room.
  • No shows will result in full room charges
  • All rates subject to appropriate taxes
  • Reservations cannot be made after 11 AM to book for that same day due to bandwidth
  • 2- night minimum may be required April – November
  • Prices are for two (2) guests per room. A charge may be applied for an extra person where space permits
  • Children 13 years of age and older are welcome. and must be accompanies by an adult.
  • We are the ultimate animal lovers; however, for the safety, comfort, and convenience of all of our guests, we regret that we do not allow pets.
  • We are a non-smoking Inn, per Pennsylvania law.  You may not smoke on the porches or patios, or in your rooms. If evidence of smoking is found anywhere other than the permitted areas a $250 fee will be applied to their bill. This applies to cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and medical marijuana.

Terms & Conditions


When your booking is confirmed by phone and/or email, a reservation number is given. Please retain this number and use it in any communication with us should a cancellation or amendment be necessary. Reservations are accepted when we have confirmed your reservation and received either: a) a 50% deposit or  (b) payment of the total price;  

If your initial payment/deposit is less than the total value of the stay, the balance will be paid by you directly to the Inn, prior to or at check-in.


A 50% deposit for the total stay is required at the time of booking to reserve the room and receive a confirmation. If the reservation is for 1 night only, the full amount is due (room rate & taxes) and will be charged directly at the time booking. 


Rates are non-negotiable, and are based on double occupancy. Our prices fluctuate based on availability and seasonality. 


Bookings must be guaranteed using a valid credit or debit card. The total amount payable to confirm your booking is quoted in your Booking Confirmation and will be charged to your credit or debit card or any other payment method offered at the time of booking, according to the payment schedule specified on your Booking Confirmation. If your card is declined by your bank or if there are no sufficient funds on your account, we reserve the right to cancel Your Booking automatically. 


If you cancel your booking on or before the cancellation deadline specified in the Cancellation Policy section on your Booking Confirmation a full refund will be given to you, including any booking extras paid at the time of your booking (unless stated otherwise). If you cancel your booking after the Cancellation Deadline, you will be charged the full value of the late cancellation fee specified in your Confirmation, including any booking extras you have selected for the duration of your stay.  If you cancel your booking after the date of your expected check-in, you will be charged the full value of your booking.

If you change the number of guests, dates, room nights, or room type (‘Amendment’), then the prices are subject to change. Should you request an Amendment and should we not be in a position to accommodate our amendment, your booking will be canceled, and a full refund given to you provided that such cancellation or amendment occurs on or before the Cancellation Deadline, failing which the terms described in this Cancellation clause shall apply.  

If you arrive after the agreed check-in time or do not arrive at all, We reserve the right to cancel your entire booking and charge any applicable Cancellation fee. We shall be under no obligation to hold the accommodation for you.


We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance; due to our cancellation policy that will be strictly enforced.  We are not affiliated with, nor recommend any particular company. We are providing some travel insurance options for consideration with respect to our strict cancellation policy.


The latest arrival (check-in) and departure (check-out) times are specified on your Booking Confirmation. Should you wish to check-in later than the specified latest check-in time, you must confirm this to us directly. If you attempt to check-in later than the stated times without prior arrangement or fail to check-in at all, we may cancel the booking and retain any amounts as stated in the Cancellation Policy section of Your Booking Confirmation. Failing to arrive before the latest check-in time shall be deemed to be a full cancellation of your booking, and the room may no longer be held for you.


Check-in time is from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  In an effort to best accommodate your travel needs, we occasionally can provide early check-ins starting at 1:00 pm. We ask that you call to check on availability 24 hours in advance. Please advise if your travel time will cause you to arrive at a later time so we can make arrangements to welcome you. 

Check-out time on the day of your departure is 11:00 am, Due to our details COVID cleaning practices and incoming reservations we are unable to accommodate late departures past 11:00 AM. Thank you in advance for your respect for our check out time allowing us to prepare for our incoming guests.


Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.  Please let us know any special dietary requirements when you make a reservation.


Inn Parking is behind the house off of 5th street.  There is space for one car per guest room.  


Any damage caused by you to our property, inside or outside of your room, such as carpet stains, soiled furnishings, broken windows, or appliances will be billed to you and applied to the credit card on file.


Per Pennsylvania state law we are a non-smoking property. The only places guests are permitted to smoke are the parking lot and their own personal vehicles. You may not smoke on the porches or patios, or in your rooms. If evidence of smoking is found anywhere other than the permitted areas a $250 fine will be applied to their bill. This applies to cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and marijuana. 


The Keystone Inn is a peaceful property with all guests residing in close proximity to each other.  Therefore, we request guests to be considerate of others staying with us when opening and closing doors and conversing in the public areas during sleeping hours.  In order to ensure peace and quiet for all guests, common areas (sitting room, dining rooms, foyers, front porch, veranda, and surrounding lawn) are available for use from 7:30 am-10:30 pm unless a group event is planned for those areas. 


Please contact us immediately if you’ve left a personal item. We will be happy to package and ship it back to you and will charge your provided credit card for shipping. After 30 days, all unclaimed items will be donated.


We may process any Personal Information you provide to us for the sole purposes of completing our duties as a representative of the Inn.  You have the right to request access to the information we hold about you at any time, and the right to request that your data be corrected or deleted (except where we are required to hold it by law).

Keystone inn respects the privacy of every individual who visits our Properties and/or uses our website. 

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data that:

  • is provided to us when you stay or travel with us (or make inquiries to stay or travel with us) either by you or by a third party through whom you have made an inquiry or booking; and
  • we collect from you when you visit any of Keystone inn’s website or which we obtain from any communications with you

We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the personal data we hold and how to contact us about our privacy practices, and to exercise your rights.

Personal data we collect

Personal data you provide on a voluntary basis

We will collect, store and process information about you if you voluntarily provide us with such information in connection with the following:

  • filling in a form on any of our websites;
  • filling in a physical registration card;
  • opting in to receive marketing information with us;
  • contacting us by telephone or face to face (e.g. in the context of making a reservation);
  • sending us a letter, e-mail or social media message;
  • subscribing to receive a service from us (e.g. a newsletter, blog or by following us on social media);
  • requesting promotional information from us (e.g. information about any of our goods or services including Belmond gift cards);
  • participating in a survey, competition or prize draw; or
  • contributing content to us (e.g. for display on a Keystone Inn blog).

The types of information we may obtain include:

  • name, address, email address, telephone number
  •  payment data, travel history and details of joint travelers;
  • dates of your stay or travel with us and associated charges;
  • purchase or delivery of products or services;
  • reviews and opinions about our brands, products, and services;
  • information we receive about you from any third parties through whom you have booked your arrangements;

Special category personal data

We do not collect data that is, by its nature, particularly sensitive (e.g. genetic data, biometric data, data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, sex life, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs, data concerning health, criminal background or trade union membership) unless it is volunteered by you.

We may use certain sensitive (or “special category”) personal data where you have given your explicit consent to us doing so, to better serve and meet your needs. Such sensitive data is only shared with other members of the Keystone inn or our third-party service providers acting as data processors (e.g. excursion providers, restaurants, transport providers) for the purpose of providing the services you request and will not be shared or used by us for any other purposes.

Examples of sensitive personal data we may collect and process include:

  • food allergies;
  • dietary requirements which may imply or suggest your religion, health or other sensitive personal data;
  • mobility requirements;
  • disabilities; and
  • medical conditions.

Personal data we collect automatically

When you visit the Keystone Inn website, we do not use “cookies” and other automated means. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. We do use Google Analytics to gather data about the visitors to our websites, to enable us to improve our websites and deliver a better and more personalized service.

Data we collect through such means may comprise the following:

  • date and time;
  • originating IP address;
  • domain name;
  • type of browser and operating system used (if provided by the browser);
  • URL of the referring page (if provided by the browser);
  • object requested;
  • completion status of the request;
  • geographic location; or
  • language preferences.

Use of personal data

As a provider of hospitality experiences, Keystone inn has a legitimate business interest in operating and improving its business and the services it offers. Keystone inn therefore uses and processes your personal data to:

  • help us create content that is relevant to our visitors;
  • make improvements to our websites and social media pages and ensure that content on these is presented in the most effective manner for you;
  • provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you;
  • facilitate bookings, payment and other administrative processes related to your stay or travel;
  • assess and help us understand general trends and patterns relating to our business;
  • provide for the safety and security of our guests and visitors;
  • manage general record keeping;
  • enable us to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how users use our websites and to help us improve the structure of our websites;
  • enable you to make reservations, buy Keystone Inn gift cards, and make payments;
  • meet any legal and/or regulatory requirements;
  • provide the products or services you request from us including providing personalized services; and
  • improve our products and services and to ensure our products and services are of interest to you.

Even where keystone Inn has a legitimate interest in processing your personal data, it will not do so to the extent that processing would override your interests, rights, and freedoms to protect your personal data.

We may also use your personal data to protect against and prevent fraud, claims, and other liabilities and to comply with or enforce applicable legal requirements, industry standards, and our policies and terms. We use personal data for these purposes when it is necessary to protect, exercise or defend our legal rights, or when we are required to do so by applicable law.

In the situations set out below, we will only process your personal data when you have given us your specific consent and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time:

  • marketing and profiling purposes which are managed solely by Keystone Inn as data controller. Your decision to provide your data for such purposes is optional and will have no consequence on your ability to stay with us or benefit from the requested services;
  • all purposes concerning a specific booking, the related stay or travel with us, and the provision of stay-specific services you have requested,  Your decision to provide personal data (including special category/sensitive personal data) to us is voluntary, however, if you do not provide such personal data you may no longer be able to benefit from our services.

We may process your personal data by both automated and manual means. We may use your personal data in other ways for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection.

Sharing personal data

We do not sell, otherwise disclose, or share data we collect and hold about you, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may share your personal data with third parties as described below:

  • third party service providers who have been appointed as data processors to perform functions and services on our behalf and who will be provided only with personal data necessary to perform the services on our behalf but are not authorized by us to use such data for any other purposes (e.g. providers of services in respect of web hosting, payment processing, information technology systems, customer relationship management, booking, and reservations management, marketing, auditing, administration);
  • reservations management platforms used by you or Keystone to make reservations for dinner, tours, spa appointments as requested
  • third party providers of components of any package holiday, arranged activity/experience or other services we arrange for you;
  • to our advisors and insurers in the event of a claim, dispute, or where otherwise necessary;
  • we reserve the right to transfer personal data about you in the event that we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets, in accordance with applicable law. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use data you have provided to us in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Following such a sale or transfer, you may contact the entity to which we transferred your data with any inquiries concerning the processing of that data.

Your rights

We will only send you marketing communications if you “opted in” to receiving such communications. You have the right to “opt out” of receiving marketing communications, whether by email or otherwise, at any time.
